Integration of the Supply Chain and Retail Partners.
The company’s supply chain for specific retail service line required an interface with multiple parties (partners). The company has a contractual responsibility to be a “clearing house” for all transactions in the scope of that service line and provide direct access to up-to-date reporting.
The underlying solution was responsible for managing retail SKUs, complex pricing logic (per region, per retail partner, per category of products etc.) and providing consolidated reporting across multiple business systems, business units of the organization, multiple deployments of the supply chain (worldwide) and multiple retail partners (including major retail chains).
The solution required globalization (across multiple international regions) and localized communication interface.
